This talk explores postcoloniality and decoloniality as a politics of time / space . . It analyzes issues of uneven development, enclaves, and fragmented geographies and political ecologies in relation to issues of multiple temporalities, teleologies, interruptions and continuities, vis-a-vis late colonial and immediate post independence times . While the postcolonial state is invested in re-writing its past and its negotiation of legacies from colonial and precolonial moments, this talk will look into the political question of the future and the decolonization of times-to-come
