Professor Siba Grovogui (Guinea), based at Cornell University, will be giving 2 lectures on  13 and 15, January and a student-seminar on 17 January, 2014. 

Monday, January 13: 'Sovereigns, Quasi-Sovereigns and Africans':  the thesis, the debates and what is at stake today.

             Time: 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday, January 15: 'Beyond Eurocentrism':  The Making of an African Intellectual History.

             Time:2:15 - 5:15 p.m.

Friday, January 17: MISR PhD Political Studies students will present their paper.

             Time:10:00 - 1:00 p.m.

Attendance is open to the public.
