Professor Ian Shapiro will be giving 2 public lectures on  Monday, 28th July and Wednesday, 30th July and a student session on Friday, 1st August, 2014 at Makerere Institute of Social Research.

Monday, July 28: "Luck, Leadership and Legitimacy in Transitions to Democracy: Lessons from South Africa and the Middle East. ".

             Time: 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday, July 30: "When Does Foreign Intervention Make Sense? Lessons from Kosovo, Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya"

             Time:2:15 - 5:15 p.m.

Friday, August 01: Discussion with PhD Students.

             Time:10:00 - 1:00 p.m.
