I write to inform you that the Chairperson of Makerere University Appointments Board, Mr. Bruce Balaba Kabaasa has received the MISR investigation Report 2016.
According to Mr. Balaba Kabaasa, the Makerere University Appointments Board is scheduled to hold a meeting at the end of this week to discuss the MISR investigation Report 2016 that he has received today, Monday 6th June 2016.
The Chairperson of the Committee of the Appointments Board, Hajjati Sharifah Buzeki handed over the Report to the Chairperson,Makerere University Appointments Board. All the Members of the Committee of the Appointments Board were present. The Members include: Prof. Sarah Kiguli, Dr. Sarah Ssali,Mr. Jude Mbabaali and Mr. Godwin Okiror-Secretary to the Committee.
The following Officers witnessed the handover of the Report: Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe,Deputy Vice Chancellor (Finance and Administration); Mr. Ssanyu Lawrence-Acting Director Human Resources; Ms Josephine Apolot Opolot- Directorate of Human Resources; and Ms Ritah Namisango-Makerere University Public Relations Office.
NOTE:
1. The Makerere University Appointments Board is scheduled to meet at the end of this week to discuss the MISR Investigation Report 2016.
2. Please receive a copy the BRIEF ON THE MISR INVESTIGATION REPORT 2016 (signed by the Chairperson and Members of the Committee of the Appointments Board).
3. This Report is before the Makerere University Appointments Board. The Board in execution of the powers as stated in the Universities and Other Tertiary Institutions Act will study the Recommendations and take appropriate action. The Makerere University Appointments Board shall communicate its decisions using appropriate channels.
