Stella Nyanzi presents paper at 'Queer in Africa Re-Imagined' Symposium

Dr. Stella Nyanzi  presented a paper based on her ethnographic research at the "Queer in Africa Re-Imagined" Symposium held at the University of Cape Town, South Africa from 21 - 22 April, 2015. Her paper was titled : "Dollars, dildos and dental dams: Disfigurations of Queer ethos and practice in contemporary Uganda.”

She also participated in the launch of the special Issue of the Feminist Journal Agenda entitled 'Non-Normative Sexual and Gender Diversities in Africa' volume 29, issue 1, in which her recent article on anti-homosexuality legislation in Uganda is published.
