Stella Nyanzi publishes "The Social-Political Dynamics of Anti-Homosexuality Legislation in Uganda"

Dr. Stella Nyanzi has published a co-authored article entitled "The Social-Political Dynamics of Anti-Homosexuality Legislation in Uganda" in the African feminist journal called AGENDA. Co-written with Andrew Karamagi of the School of Law at Makerere University, the article reviews historical developments of the anti-homosexuality laws in Uganda, and then analyses how diverse members of the executive, legislature and judiciary mobilised and deployed these legislative processes to advance their political careers within this hybrid regime.
