Stella Nyanzi presented a paper entitled “Queering African Scholarship: Queering African Modes of Knowing, Africanizing Queer Frames of Thinking” at the Second African Same-Sex Sexualities and Gender Diversity (ASSSG&D II) Conference held in Nairobi from 17th – 20th March 2014. Academics, researchers and activists presented 41 papers from 26 African countries and the diaspora,among other activities.
