Stella Nyanzi to present a paper entitled 'Sexual and Gender Rights' at the Fifth Annual Sexual and Gender-Based Violence/ Persecution Awareness Week organised by the Refugee Law Project, Makerere University

Stella Nyanzi will present a paper entitled 'Sexual and Gender Rights' at the Fifth Annual Sexual and Gender-Based Violence/ Persecution Awareness Week organised by the Refugee Law Project of the School of Law at Makerere University (see http://www.refugeelawproject.org for details). Running from 4th to 8th March 2013, the theme for this SGBV/P Awareness Week is
'From Sexual Violence in Conflict to Domestic Violence in Peace'.

Nyanzi's paper will be delivered to a forum of stakeholders including policymakers, implementers, legal, psychosocial and medical practitioners in the area of sexual and gender-based violence/ persecution, as well as relevant government department, civil society organisations, and development partners involved in programming for this area.
