Stella Nyanzi will present a paper entitled 'Sexual and Gender Rights' at the Fifth Annual Sexual and Gender-Based Violence/ Persecution Awareness Week organised by the Refugee Law Project of the School of Law at Makerere University (see http://www.refugeelawproject.org for details). Running from 4th to 8th March 2013, the theme for this SGBV/P Awareness Week is
'From Sexual Violence in Conflict to Domestic Violence in Peace'.

Dr. Giuliano Martiniello participated on behalf of MISR at the Summer School organized by the African Institute of Agrarian Studies held in Harare, Zimbabwe, 14-18 January. He presented two papers on Land Dispossession and Food Sovereignty in Uganda. He will be a contributor for a forthcoming book edited by S. Moyo, P. Yeros and P. Jha titled “Reclaim Africa” that will be published at the end of this year by SAGE Publications.
