Dr. Stella Nyanzi has been awarded a post-doctoral grant of the Carnegie Next Generation of African Academics (NGAA) II 2013-2016 through the Directorate of Research and Graduate Training at Makerere University. With support from this grant, she will be conducting research entitled "Asserting Sovereignty amidst International Pressure to Protect Human Rights: Ethnographic Research about Re-criminalizing Homosexuality in
Uganda".
