Dr. Stella Nyanzi presented summaries of her research and discussed funding for the arts and humanities in universities in Africa at the Carnegie Corporation and the American Council of Learned Societies in New York, on 11th November 2013. These visits at the two funding bodies behind the African Humanities Program marked the beginning of Dr. Nyanzi’s fellowship period as an African Studies Association Presidential Fellow for 2013.
