Two MISR fellows awarded the African Humanities Program Postdoctoral Fellowship

MISR is pleased to announce that Dr Haydee Bangerezako and Dr Laury Ocen have been awarded the African Humanities Program Postdoctoral Fellowship by  the African Humanities Program (AHP) of the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS). This is for their respective projects, Indirect writing and the production of history in Burundi:official history and woman as mwami and War and urbanisation:an ethnographic study of displacement and urban formation in postwar northern Uganda
