Stella Nyanzi is presenting a paper entitled “Queer African Scholarship: Queering African Modes of Knowing, Africanizing Queer Frames of Thinking” at the International Conference on African Studies to be held at the University of Ghana, Legon from 24th – 26th October 2013. Her paper is part of a three-panel programme convend by Prof. Kopano Ratele under the bi-annual ‘PITSO Programme on Changing Traditions’ of the University of South Africa. Her panel tackles ‘Reimagining the Idea of African Traditions: Intellectual, Knowledge and Research Traditions”.
